About the Role
As Accounting Manager, you’ll take ownership of client relationships while guiding a talented team. This is a hands-on leadership role with a strong focus on mentoring and developing people, ensuring high-quality delivery across management accounts, compliance, and advisory projects. Onsite presence is key, with five days in the office preferred to foster collaboration and team growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team delivering accounting and advisory services to SME clients.
- Oversee preparation of management accounts, statutory filings, and compliance requirements.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and solutions to support their business goals.
- Drive process improvements and contribute to the firm’s growth strategy.
- Support team development through coaching, training, and performance management.
About the Person
You’re a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) with strong technical knowledge and proven leadership experience. A background in practice and exposure to SME clients is ideal. You bring excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to inspire and guide a team. A proactive approach and commitment to delivering exceptional client service will set you apart.
