Barden are currently assisting our client, a luxury retailer who is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join their close knit team. This is an ideal city centre role for someone who enjoys working in a team setting and in an environment where there’s always a buzz.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Input, process and code invoices accurately and timely in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Correspond with vendors and respond to a high volume of inquiries.
- Input and maintain vendors in the accounting system
- Maintain records for all accounts payable transactions.
- Bank reconciliations
- Support Cash team by recording manual journals for ad hoc payments
- Identify, propose, and implement process efficiencies/improvements.
- Assist with other areas of Accounts Administration when needed
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- At least 2 years of strong accounts experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a high-volume environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
