Aircraft Leasing Tax Director

Due to continued growth, an experienced and commercially focused Tax Director is required to join a leading Aviation & Aircraft Leasing tax team in Dublin.  Ireland is a global hub for aircraft leasing, and this role offers the opportunity to work with leading international lessors, financiers, and aviation groups on complex cross-border transactions and structuring projects.

This is a leadership position within a high performing and growing team, combining technical excellence, client relationship management, and business development.

About the role 

As Tax Director, you will:

• Lead the delivery of tax advisory and compliance services to aircraft leasing and aviation clients
• Advise on complex international tax structuring, financing transactions, and asset holding structures
• Provide guidance on Irish corporate tax, withholding tax, VAT, and international tax implications relevant to aircraft leasing
• Support clients on aircraft acquisitions, disposals, securitisations, and refinancing transactions
• Oversee tax due diligence and transaction structuring for aviation M&A activity
• Manage Revenue interventions and tax authority engagements where required
• Build and maintain strong client relationships with C-suite stakeholders, tax directors and finance leaders
• Drive business development initiatives and contribute to proposal development
• Mentor and develop senior managers, managers and wider team members

About the person 

• CTA / ACA / ACCA / equivalent professional qualification
• Significant experience in Irish and international corporate tax
• Strong understanding of aircraft leasing structures and aviation financing (highly desirable)
• Proven ability to lead complex advisory projects
• Strong commercial awareness and client relationship skills
• Demonstrated experience managing and developing teams
