Here in Barden we are delighted to have been engaged by an SME that’s known for being a leader in it’s field to assist in the search for an Assistant Accountant to join their dynamic team here in Cork.

Based on outskirts of the city this individual will be working under a skilled and welcoming mentor/Finance Manager and will be a part of a team that is making a real impact in their industry in Cork.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Daily, weekly & monthly reporting
Invoice approval checks and timely entry of purchase invoices
Payment of suppliers on a weekly basis
Dealing with supplier & invoice queries
Creditor reconciliations and accruals
Processing of credit notes
General ledger coding of invoices
VAT returns

ABOUT THE PERSON:

At least 2 years experience in an Accounts Assistant / Accounting Technician role desirable
Enthusiastic, highly organised individual with a focus on results
Strong Excel Skills
High attention to detail
