ROLE:                 Business Analyst – 6 month contract                

LOCATION:        Dublin

Barden is delighted to be partnering with a globally renowned leader in the e-commerce and technology industry to support them with a Business Analyst position. This company is known for its commitment to innovation, diversity, and delivering exceptional solutions to customers worldwide. The opportunity will be a 6 month contract position, located in their Dublin HQ.

 ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to identify business needs, analyse processes, and recommend solutions that drive efficiency and growth. This role requires a blend of analytical skills, business acumen, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and research
  • Analyze current business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement
  • Create detailed functional specifications for proposed solutions
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure proper implementation of new systems and processes
  • Perform data analysis and create reports to support decision-making
  • Monitor and report on the progress of projects and initiatives

 ABOUT THE PERSON:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a similar role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile)
  • Proficiency with SQL and data visualization tools like Quicksite

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
