ABOUT THE ROLE
Financial Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and execute financial strategies that align with the company’s goals.
- Provide insights into the company’s long-term financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and investment strategies.
- Monitor the company’s cash flow, optimising working capital, ensuring a balance between growth and financial stability.
Financial Reporting:
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Communicate the company’s financial performance to the board of directors, investors, and stakeholders.
- Manage Monthly management accounts and monthly variance analysis & operational KPIs.
- Supervise accounting, auditing, and financial control functions.
- Lead the finance team and ensure the accuracy of financial data and internal controls.
Risk Management & Compliance:
- Identify and mitigate financial risks that could affect the company’s profitability.
- Oversee insurance, hedging, and other strategies to manage financial risk.
- Ensure compliance will all statutory and taxation obligations, mitigating exposures and optimising available structures.
Cost Management & Efficiency:
- Analyse and control operational costs to maximize profitability.
- Work closely with other departments to improve financial performance and cost-efficiency across the organization.
Relationship management:
- Serve as the primary liaison between the company and external stakeholders such as Banks, Revenue, and financial institutions.
- Key point of contact to the board and investors.
ABOUT THE PERSON
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with Big 4 experience and 8-10(+) years post-qualification.
- High commercial awareness, excellent analytical, technical, IT skills, and advanced MS Excel knowledge.
- Extensive management experience, excellent time management, organizational, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Desirable experience would include experience in a high-growth business.
