Barden have been appointed by a hugely impressive Commercial Director of a large FMCG business to identify a Commercial Finance Manager to join their team.
In this role, you’ll play an integral part in shaping significant strategic initiatives to drive business performance. You will gain access to executives across the organisation, partnering with them to implement best practices for enhancing and streamlining commercial decision making. This role is ideally suited to someone who thrives working in a fast paced environment where you can make a genuine impact. You will work cross functionally with procurement, finance, sales and various other departments.

ABOUT THE ROLE
- Drive the strategic price program, focusing on sustainable pricing structures and supplier investment strategies.
- Conduct cost analysis to uncover opportunities for pricing, discounts, and investment optimizations.
- Collaborate with commercial leads to develop and support commercial strategies that enhance pricing and margin structures.
- Lead efforts in validating and aligning pricing structures with suppliers to ensure accuracy.
- Partner with stakeholders to implement and monitor pricing improvements and their impact on margin.
- Champion the use of new reporting tools across teams, supporting commercial decision-making.
- Lead training and capability-building initiatives cross functionally.
- Develop and present strategic reports for executive leadership, providing insights on performance and risks.
- Support commercial strategy through data-driven insights on key performance metrics.
- Oversee financial planning and budget management for key commercial areas, ensuring alignment with objectives.
ABOUT THE PERSON
- Qualified accountant with 7+ years of industry experience; additional business qualifications are a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel and systems expertise.
- Proactive and adaptable, with attention to detail, sound judgment, and senior-level influence.
- Excellent stakeholder management, planning, and strategic thinking abilities.
- Strong commercial insight and effective communication skills.
