Barden are delighted to have been asked to act exclusively on behalf of a large international business to support the appointment of a Commercial Finance Manager.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Manage the commercial finance activities within a specific business unit, providing insight and financial guidance to senior management on the profitability and financial performance of the business.
- Manage commercial and pricing models to improve profitability and performance analysis across the sales teams.
- Serve as a trusted financial advisor to the management team, offering commercial insights to shape business decisions.
- Demonstrate sound commercial judgement and decisive decision-making.
- Drive initiatives to enhance financial processes, systems, and tools. Implement best practices for financial reporting, analytics, and decision support, ensuring continuous improvement and increased efficiency.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- Accounting qualification with a minimum of 5-8 years post-qualified experience.
- Previous commercial finance experience essential.
- Managed small teams.
- High level of drive and self-motivation
- Strong commercial acumen, able to articulate the numbers to non finance people.
