Barden is partnering with a leading company in its sector with a strong national and international presence looking to hire a Company Secretarial Assistant on a 12-13 months’ fixed term contract. The role will be based in the company’s offices in Co. Kerry, alongside the company secretarial team.
THE ROLE
- Support the Group Company Secretary and Company Secretarial manager in advising the Board and Committees on company secretarial and governance matters
- Apply corporate governance best practices into the company’s processes, in compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Ensure that Group companies comply with all company secretarial requirements applicable in their respective countries, in particular in Ireland and the UK
- Maintaining all statutory books, doing the required statutory filings and filing annual returns
- Organising board meetings and annual general meetings, as well as drafting minutes and resolutions
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- Ideally 3+ years’ experience in a company secretarial role
- Strong experience of company law, company secretarial practice and corporate governance
- ICSA qualification is ideal but not a requirement.
