Compliance Business Partner, Director (Pharma multinational)

Barden is working as the exclusive partners with a global pharmaceutical company looking to appoint a Compliance Business Partner at the equivalent of Director level to act as the primary strategic advisor to the UK & Ireland markets.

The position reports into an Executive Director in the USA who heads up the compliance function for Europe and other international markets outside of the US. The successful individual will be part of the leadership team supporting the overall global compliance strategy and culture.

THE ROLE

This role will support in matters related to the commercialisation of products in the UK and Ireland, as well as the manufacturing and R&D functions in Ireland. The key responsibility will be to drive the development, implementation and management of the compliance programme, including policies, processes, training, communication and systems, for the company’s affiliates in the UK and Ireland.

THE PERSON

• Circa 7+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in either a senior Compliance, Legal or Internal Audit role.
• Strong experience with business compliance in the healthcare sector and with the applicable legal frameworks and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence across all levels and a solutions-oriented mindset.
