Barden have been engaged by one of Ireland’s leading companies to invite a corporate finance professional to join their Corporate Development team.
This is a unique opportunity at this level sitting on a close knit team, gaining direct exposure to a broad range of activities working closely with the senior leadership team.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
This role provides an excellent opportunity to utilise one’s corporate finance experience within an industry setting and add real value to a reknown irish business.
Main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Conduct financial evaluations for new markets, acquisitions, and business development.
- Present financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Support deal structuring, contract development, and proposal preparation.
- Assist in due diligence and transaction execution across project stages.
- Build and review financial models for various strategic initiatives.
- Analyse external models and test key assumptions to validate outcomes.
- Coordinate project tasks and timelines during acquisition processes.
- Ad hoc projects as they arise.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- Recently qualified accounting professional with 0-2 years PQE;
- Previous corporate finance experience required;
- Ability to deliver both qualitative and quantitative analysis for decision making at senior management level;
- Self-starter who is motivated and can work autonomously;
- Good commercial acumen and ability to analyse qualitative information;
- Good problem solving and analytical skills;
- Excellent working knowledge of Excel.
