Barden is excited to partner with a leading tech organisation in their search for a Senior Director of Digital Development. This senior leadership role requires an experienced software development professional with a strong background in commercialising software products and user experience design, with ideally some exposure to integrating AI/ML technologies, including generative AI.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Lead a diverse development team, focusing on product innovation and leveraging AI/ML technologies.
- Develop a strategic vision and roadmap for digital capabilities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry trends.
- Ensure exceptional user experience across all digital products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to deliver solutions that meet both customer needs and business goals.
- Drive agile methodologies and best practices in a fast-paced environment.
- Manage department budgets and resource allocation.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- You are an accomplished software development leader at senior manager/director level or higher, with experience commercialising software products.
- You have experience leading large, cross-functional teams, demonstrating the ability to align diverse groups toward common goals and drive complex projects to successful outcomes.
- With a keen focus on UX, you ensure product designs are intuitive, seamless, and consistently meet high standards of user experience.
- Your leadership extends beyond team management; you are highly effective in influencing senior management and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and fostering a collaborative, results-driven culture.
- Ideally, you also have experience in integrating machine learning and generative AI into software, with an understanding of how these technologies can elevate product and business outcomes.
