Barden are delighted to have been excluisvely engaged by a leading Irish business to invite a commercial accountant to join their team as a Finance Business Partner, to join their highly regarded commercial finance team.
This is a role which allow full exposure across the business and varies teams, and also offers the opportunity to shadow the incumebent for the first 6 months in the role.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Working collaboratively across departments including sales, operations, supply chain, and marketing teams to develop insights in trends and performance.s
- Support teams in preparing their annual budgets and quarterly forecast cycles;
- Preparing forecasts and re-forecasts for assigned entities;
- Preparing monthly management accounts for assigend enities;
- Preparing reports to facilitate the board in decision making;
- Preparing business cases for new product or market initiatives;
- Identifying areas for continuous improvement;
- Ad hoc projects as required.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- Qualified accounting professional with 0-2 years PQE experience;
- Big 4 trained, with exposure to a multinational environment;
- Previous analysis or financial modelling experience an advantage;
- Proven problem-solving ability in previous analyst experience, particularly in root cause analysis;
- Strong numerical and analytical skills;
- Strong Excel skills;
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience in managing multiple stakeholders including senior management and delivering on tight reporting deadlines;
This role will be sitting in their Dublin city centre office and offers hybrid working.
