Barden have been appointed to identify an ambitious senior finance professional to take on a newly created Finance Director role in Cork. This is a highly influential role where you will have complete ownership over strategic partnerships within this global company.

ABOUT THE ROLE
- Lead financial reporting across the function, ensuring timely, accurate reporting to support decision-making and meet stakeholder expectations.
- Own all financial aspects of new global partnerships, including accounting, compliance, and operational alignment to support growth.
- Provide business insights to executive leadership, using data and financial analysis to support key decisions and influence strategy.
- Recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and growth.
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes aligned to business goals, ensuring plans are strategic, flexible, and well-informed.
- Support internal and external audits as needed, ensuring financial transparency and effective control management.
ABOUT THE PERSON
- Strong academic background (CA, MBA etc) with extensive experience in a relevant financial or commercial role.
- Proven leadership skills with experience developing and managing high-performing teams.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organisational abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments, showing adaptability and ownership.
