Barden are delighted to be supporting our long established client to identify a senior person to take on a pivotal role in the organisation responsible for Finance Master Data Governance.
In this key role, you’ll lead Finance Master Data Governance across global locations, ensuring data quality, compliance, and standardization within our ERP ecosystem. You’ll collaborate with IT, finance, and commercial teams to manage system changes, drive process improvements, and align data governance with business operations.
Key responsibilities include overseeing ERP releases, managing financial data processes, and playing a critical role in change management. ABOUT THE ROLE
- Lead governance of finance master data, ensuring global data quality, standardization, and compliance.
- Oversee system changes and ensure consistency of master data across ERP platforms.
- Collaborate with IT and operations on system governance, data integration, and process enhancements.
- Manage ERP releases, ensuring successful implementation and ongoing system maintenance.
- Ensure financial processes like accounts payable/receivable align with data governance for smooth operations.
- Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to drive system/process improvements and ensure user adoption.
ABOUT THE PERSON
- Expertise in ERP systems and financial master data governance, with experience working across multiple locations.
- Strong technical knowledge of finance systems and processes, with the ability to lead governance efforts.
- Experience in finance shared services and ERP platforms, with a focus on implementing and customizing global templates.
- Proven ability to manage and influence multiple stakeholders across finance, IT, and other business functions.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to lead escalations and drive governance-related conversations.
- Experience with change management and process improvements in a global organization.
