Here at Barden, we are excited to be partnering our valued client to identify a Finance Operations Manager to play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the company’s financial operations.

This business is going from strength to strength and is experiencing significant growth and global expansion. Headquartered in Ireland, you will report to the newly appointed Group Finance Director who is incredibly impressive. They bring innovate thinking and you will have both the support from them and also the freedom to adopt new technologies and ways of working to bring further improvements to Finance.

The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, be passionate about partnering with business stakeholders both internal and external, and have the initiative to drive processes forward.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Oversee financial operations across multiple locations, including accounts payable, payroll, and other centralised functions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial processes align with business needs and run efficiently.
  • Manage large volume financial activities to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across all regions.
  • Monitor performance through KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives across financial operations.
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members to build capability and support professional growth.
  • Support system implementations, process optimisation, and ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations.

ABOUT THE PERSON

  • Qualified accountant with 5-8 + years post qualified experience.
  • Excellent communicator with proven influencing skills across all levels.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Motivated self-starter who enjoys working as part of a team.
  • Process-driven with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Strong systems & REP knowledge/experience.
