ROLE: Finance Transformation Senior Manager | Data & Analytics

ABOUT THE ROLE:
Our Client is seeking an experienced Finance Transformation professional to join their Finance Business Partnering function, with a strong focus on data and analytics optimisation. This role will drive transformation across finance processes, tools, and reporting, enabling smarter, insight-driven decision-making and supporting business leaders with actionable financial insights. The ideal person combines finance expertise with analytical skills, technology fluency, and a passion for process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead optimisation of data and analytics capabilities within the Finance Business Partnering function.
- Review existing tools and solutions (e.g., Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau) to ensure full utilisation and identify opportunities for further optimisation.
- Design and implement best-in-class processes across business partnering and commercial finance.
- Design and implement data-driven solutions to improve finance efficiency and business decision-making.
- Partner with business leaders and finance colleagues to understand their needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Support the deployment of finance technologies (ERP enhancements, BI tools, FP&A systems) and integrate them into business partnering workflows.
- Develop dashboards, KPIs, and reporting frameworks to enhance visibility and business performance.
- Identify process improvement opportunities across business partnering, management reporting, and operational finance.
- Lead or support change management initiatives to embed new ways of working across the finance function.
- Keep abreast of trends in finance technology, analytics, AI, and automation to inform transformation strategies.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
What you will ideally need:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent, with experience in corporate finance or management reporting.
- Proven track record delivering finance transformation projects, particularly in process redesign, technology adoption, or analytics implementation.
- Strong experience in Power BI, Tableau, Excel, SQL, or other BI/reporting tools. Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, Workday, NetSuite) preferred.
- Understanding of supporting business leaders with financial insights and decision-making.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to embed new processes and influence stakeholders effectively.
- Comfortable working with large datasets to extract meaningful insights.
- Strong ability to translate complex finance and technical concepts into clear, actionable recommendations.
