Barden are delighted to be working with a well-established and hugely successful Irish business who are looking for a strong Financial Accountant to join their finance team. This role will report to a high-calibre Finance Manager and this person will have a wide range of responsibilities including reporting activities, analysis work, liaising with key stakeholders across the business and ad-hoc project work.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
Responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for review and posting of month-end close and accounting transactions;
- Responsible for the accounting and reporting requirements under IFRS;
- The development of strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business;
- Preparation of key performance indicators;
- Involvement in process improvement and system automation projects;
- Support various finance projects to support continued growth.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- Qualified accountant with 1/2 years’ PQE;
- Detail oriented, organised and results focused;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a small, tight-knit team and build key relationships;
- Ideal person must have excellent knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word;
- Ability to act on own initiative.
