Barden are proud to be partnering with a prominent Irish charity who are looking to add a driven and socially conscience Financial Accountant to their Dublin City based Finance team.
This is an ideal role for someone with a genuine interest in using their qualification to help those in need and offers a great opportunity to gain both commercial experience and senior stakeholder engagement.
The role offers great progression, with a clear route to Finance Manager in a short space of time.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
This role will be responsible for day to day accounting of specific divisions of the organisation. Main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of the monthly management accounts, consolidation process and financial statement preparation;
- Contribute in KPI analysis, cash-flow forecasting, and board reporting preparation;
- Support in the development of FP&A processes;
- Oversight of AR/AP team outputs;
- On-going process improvement and ad-hoc projects as they arise.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- Qualified Accountant with at 0-3 years PQE (ACA, ACCA, CIMA);
- Genuine interest in not for profit and the charity sector;
- Industry experience is preferred;
- Excellent communication and organisational skills;
- Self-starter who is motivated, innovative and ambitious;
- Solid working knowledge of Excel.
