Barden has been engaged by a leading Cork business to identify a qualified Financial Accountant to join their team. Working as part of a large, highly professional team, you will play a key role in the company’s Shared Service Centre (SSC).
As a Financial Accountant, you will work on the accounting functions for multiple entities while contributing to various projects within the organisation. This is a dynamic and broad finance role that offers the chance to collaborate closely with the cross-functional senior management team, ensuring accurate accounting and reporting across all entities.

ABOUT THE ROLE
- Manage General Ledger accounting for one or more entities.
- Review and post month-end close and accounting transactions.
- Ensure accounting and reporting compliance under U.S. and local GAAP.
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders across EMEA.
- Prepare key performance indicators and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors, providing timely and accurate information and data to support the audit process.
- Evaluate processes, recommending and implementing improvements.
ABOUT THE PERSON
- Newly Qualified Accountant, 0 – 2 years PQE.
- Experience with US GAAP and SAP is desirable.
- Strong technical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions and different cultures.
