Barden has partnered with a leading PLC business to source a strong Financial Reporting Senior Manager to take on a leadership role within their best in class finance team.
THE ROLE
An outstanding opportunity for a strong accountant to advance their career in a forward-thinking company. You will support the team who are responsible for financial reporting, analysis and business partnering across the organisation. This role will support and develop a high calibre team of qualified accountants while also partnering with senior stakeholders across a range of teams in the group.
- This role is quite broad with a primary focus on financial reporting
- The role also encompasses Budgeting & Forecasting, FP&A, preparation of materials for Senior Management
- Identify opportunities for improvement in reporting processes and controls
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including Group auditors.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of financial reporting systems across the Group.
- Participate in various ad-hoc projects, including process improvement initiatives.
ABOUT THE PERSON
- Big 4/Top 10 trained Qualified Accountant with 7+ years PQE in industry or practice
- Industry experience a plus, particularly within an international environments
- Open to individuals straight from practice with a strong knowledge of financial reporting
- People management experience
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting
