Barden have been engaged excluisvely by our client a leader in their sector to identify an experienced accountant to join their finance hub team as a GL Accountant.
This is the ideal opportunity for an ambitious accountant in a finance hub enviornment looking for the next step to progress their career.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
This role will include a broad mix of statutory reporting responsibilities, along with a hybrid working model but based in their North Dublin headquarters.
Main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Production of monthly management accounts;
- Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts;
- Completing monthly profit & loss and balance sheet variance analysis;
- Oversee operational finance including AP, AR and payroll;
- Assist with the budgeting and forecasting processes;
- Ownership of Balance Sheet reconciliations;
- Assist with the year-end statutory audit;
- Proactive in identifiying areas for process improvements;
- Supporting with ad hoc projects as required.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- ACA/ACCA qualified accounting professional;
- Experience in the preparation of statutory accounts;
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
- Ability to assertively solve problems and standardise processes;
- Advanced proficiency in IT skills, particularly Excel;
- Strong attention to the detail;
Hybrid working 1-2 days per week in their South Dublin office.
