Barden are delighted to have been exclusively engaged to support the appointment of a Group Financial Controller on a 12 month contract basis. The successful candidate will manage a small finance team, and oversee the group finance, consolidations and reporting function.

ABOUT THE ROLE
- Lead and inspire a small finance team including career development goals & performance management processes.
- Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements for the group, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS.
- Ownership of financial reporting and compliance for the region including forecasting & budgeting.
- Drive innovation process and reporting including system implementation and enhancements.
- Ensure robust and accurate governance structures to support future due diligence, acquisitions & disposals.
ABOUT THE PERSON
- Qualified accounting professional with 5-8 years PQE, having worked in a Group Finance environment.
- At least 2 years’ prior people management experience.
- Finance and/or ERP transformation experience desirable but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
