Are you a qualified accountant with a knack for leading teams and driving financial excellence? Barden have been exclusively engaged to help identify a Head of Accounting to oversee critical financial reporting cycles, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and inspire a high-performing team. This is a a dynamic role in a collaborative environment with a chance to lead a talented team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage monthly and quarterly reporting, including balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and variance analysis.
- Oversee month-end processes such as accruals, prepayments, and intercompany allocations.
- Lead year-end reporting, audits, and statutory financial statement preparation.
- Ensure robust internal controls, compliance with accounting standards, and process improvements.
- Mentor and lead a team of finance professionals, fostering growth and collaboration.
About You:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 7-10 years of experience and at least 3 in a similar role.
- Strong Excel skills; knowledge of SAP or Sage is a bonus.
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Shared service experience not essential but an advantage
