Barden is working with a leading commercial law firm in Dublin currently looking to add a Solicitor to their Healthcare team.

Hybrid working: typically the organisations operates a model with 1 day of working from home per week but it is negotiable.
The role:
The firm offers a full service on a broad range of practice areas on all issues affecting the healthcare sector, advising the HSE, public and private hospitals, regulators, insurers, and private companies in the healthcare space. The team is responsible for advising on complex healthcare litigation and healthcare law matters in Ireland, including:
- Working closely with Medical Council and CORU Health Services.
- Providing legal advice on regulatory and public law matters under a corporate contract with the HSE (excluding medical negligence).
- Handling prosecutions under the Health Acts.
- Advising on public safety regulations and support public inquiries.
- Advising hospitals on matters related to blood and blood products.
- Conducting legislative research and analysing case law to support legal guidance.
- Managing increasing litigation work as new tenders arise.
- Supporting projects related to the Mother and Baby Homes Commission and the Mental Health Act.
The person: You are an Irish qualified Solicitor with circa 1-4 years’ PQE in healthcare related litigation, ideally with experience in a leading law firm and on the defence side of the disputes.
