Barden is working as the exclusive partners to a leading law firm in Healthcare Law looking to appoint a new Solicitor in this area.
This is a law firm with 10 Solicitors and a fantastic work culture, very tight-knit team, and an open door approach where knowledge sharing is the norm. This is evidenced by a very high staff retention rate / low turnover.
The successful individual will have their own office.
THE ROLE
Handling complex cases involving constitutional rights, often representing clients in High Court and (to a lesser extent) Circuit Court in situations of lack of capacity and wardship cases. The successful candidate will work closely with key medical personnel taking instructions and provide advice on appropriate Court applications often involving very vulnerable service users.
You will work both autonomously and closely with partners who have a superb reputation in this line of work.
THE PERSON
- Qualified Solicitor in Ireland with 3-5 years’ PQE
- A specialisation in Litigation, ideally in healthcare. Candidates should at least have good knowledge of healthcare law or a genuine enthusiasm for this area of law with transferrable skills from previous experience.
- Full clean driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the country on occasion for Circuit Court work.
