ROLE: IT Audit Manager
REPORTING TO: Head of Internal Audit
LOCATION: Dublin Hybrid
A large, multi‑site organisation with a modern technology landscape and strong digital and operational governance agenda is seeking an IT Audit Manager to join its Group Internal Audit function. This is an opportunity to gain broad exposure across systems, cybersecurity, applications, infrastructure and business operations in a fast‑moving environment.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The IT Audit Manager will lead and deliver a variety of technology audits across the organisation, assessing risk, evaluating controls and providing practical, business‑focused recommendations. The role involves working closely with senior stakeholders across IT, operations and finance, while also supporting integrated audits with the wider internal audit team.
Responsibilities:
- Planning, delivering and reporting on IT, operational and compliance audits
- Reviewing systems, applications, infrastructure and security controls
- Conducting cybersecurity, cloud and network resilience reviews
- Identifying root causes and influencing remediation with senior teams
- Preparing well‑structured audit reports and communicating findings clearly
- Supporting integrated audits (including SAP‑related work)
- Coaching junior team members and contributing to audit quality and standards
ABOUT THE PERSON:
Requirements:
- A degree in Computer Science, IT Audit, Engineering, IS Management or similar
- A recognised certification such as CISA or CRISC
- 6+ years’ experience in IT audit, technology risk or IT controls
- Strong exposure across infrastructure, operating systems, applications, databases and cybersecurity
- Experience with platforms such as Windows, Linux, Cisco, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft 365, cloud/on‑prem systems
- Familiarity with COBIT, ITIL, ISO27001 or similar frameworks
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience with SAP systems or SAP auditing techniques
