IT Finance Business Partner – Driving Digital Transformation in Finance

Are you ready to shape the future of technology within the Finance function of a global leader? Barden has partnered with a renowned multinational company in Cork to find an exceptional IT finance business partner. This is a unique opportunity to combine your technical expertise and Finance process insight to guide the business on its digital journey.

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this position, you won’t be delivering hands-on technical solutions but instead will act as the crucial link between IT and Finance. You’ll ensure that Finance planning processes and analytics capabilities are supported and enhanced through innovative technology solutions. With a focus on delivering the existing roadmap, you’ll also prepare for exciting developments like an ERP upgrade in the near future.

  • Bridge Finance and IT: Collaborate with IT SMEs and Finance leaders to translate complex technical details into business-focused strategies.
  • Strategic Leadership: Shape IT and Digital strategies that align with Finance goals, enabling efficient processes and robust decision-making.
  • Deliver Excellence: Oversee the implementation of existing roadmaps, driving analytics enhancements, and preparing for upcoming ERP upgrades.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster collaboration across teams, ensuring alignment and the successful delivery of initiatives.
  • Focus on Analytics: Progress the organization’s Finance analytics capabilities to provide actionable insights and support strategic decisions.

ABOUT THE PERSON

  • Technical Expertise with Finance Exposure: A solid technical background in ERP systems (SAP preferred but open to others) with significant exposure to Finance transformation projects.
  • System Savvy: Strong appreciation of systems and their role in enabling Finance processes, planning, and analytics.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Proven ability to engage stakeholders, manage projects, and navigate complex challenges with clarity and influence.
  • Global Mindset: Experience in international environments, ideally within FMCG, is a strong advantage.

This is more than a job; it’s an opportunity to lead transformative change in a dynamic, globally connected organization.
