Barden has partnered with a global Pharmaceutical business to identify an Outsourcing Payroll Specialist to join their ever-growing team on a twelve-month fixed term contract. This is a part-time role, three days per week with two days onsite and one day from home.
You will be joining a vibrant, energetic, and fast-paced environment where you will come on board to optimize the payroll operations and support their worldwide growth.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Maintain compliance with tax, social security, and data protection requirements by preparing necessary documentation and supporting internal and external audit processes.
- Work closely with internal HR teams and external payroll vendors to ensure timely, accurate delivery of employee pay data, including monthly inputs, benefit changes, and compensation adjustments.
- Produce regular reports and dashboards related to payroll metrics, financial reconciliations, government submissions, and internal business insights.
- Oversee administration of employee-related benefits such as pensions and private healthcare, and ensure proper treatment of taxable benefits including company vehicles and share schemes.
- Provide professional and timely support to employees and stakeholders on payroll-related queries, assist in documenting payroll processes, and support ad hoc tasks and projects to enhance the function.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- Strong payroll knowledge, ideally with Irish payroll experience.
- Experience with outsourced payroll providers.
- Comfort with regulatory compliance and reporting.
- Good Excel and reporting skills.
- Understanding of Irish tax laws, Revenue interactions, BIK, SARP, etc.
- Detail-oriented, with strong communication skills (interacting with multiple stakeholders).
- Bonus: Experience in multinational environments (for shadow payroll, international expats)
