This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional who is actively pursuing their accounting qualification and looking to gain exposure to a broad range of financial activities within a supportive and dynamic team.
This company plays a significant role in its sector, with a strong reputation for operational excellence, people development, and long-term growth. The successful candidate will be based at a modern site just outside Dublin city, with minimal travel required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts across multiple locations
- Perform period-end routines, including journal postings and reconciliations
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and assist in group reporting activities
- Support weekly cash control processes and compliance reporting
- Manage the preparation and timely submission of revenue returns
- Liaise with auditors and assist in interim and year-end audit processes
- Identify potential process improvements and contribute to operational efficiency
- Contribute to various ad hoc financial projects and requests
About You:
You’re a dedicated and ambitious professional with a strong desire to progress your accounting career. You enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and bring a proactive, detail-oriented approach to your work.
You will ideally have:
- Part qualification with ACA, ACCA, or CIMA
- 2+ years’ experience in a finance or accounting environment
- Strong Excel skills and the ability to work with large datasets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise effectively
