Barden is delighted to partner with a well-established professional services firm located in the Meath/North Dublin region, to support the appointment of a Part-Qualified Accounting Technician.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering strong long-term prospects for someone pursuing their accounting qualifications and keen to grow their career in a structured and supportive environment. The successful candidate will gain broad exposure across key areas of accounts, tax, and payroll, with the chance to work closely with a diverse client base.
The Role
The successful candidate will join a dynamic and busy finance team, with responsibilities that will include:
- Assisting with the preparation of accounts for a range of clients
- Managing VAT, RCT, and other statutory returns
- Performing bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
- Supporting tax compliance processes, including income and corporate tax filings
- Assisting with payroll processing and related queries
- Responding to client requests and supporting day-to-day client management
- Participating in other ad hoc duties across the practice as needed
The Ideal Person
- Part-qualified Accounting Technician or pursuing a professional qualification (ACCA, ATI or similar)
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a practice or similar accounting environment
- Comfortable working to tight deadlines and managing multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to build a long-term career in the profession
