Barden is thrilled to have partnered with the Program Manager of a global Irish tech company to identify a Project Manager to join their team. This role entails taking charge of the delivery of a major transformation program across their Irish and UK businesses. This is a 6 month daily rate contract role with the opportunity to extend or potentially convert to permanent depending on preference.

The ideal person will boast a diverse industry background, particularly in the IT industry, and will be dedicated to implementing structure, governance, and best practices within projects. This role offers the scope to innovate with advanced project management approaches and contribute to a multi-jurisdictional program. The successful person will collaborate closely with stakeholders and will receive support from a talented pool of Program and Project Managers.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Manage and deliver projects, ensuring strict adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards, with a special focus on transformational initiatives.
  • Utilize project management tools, such as Jira, to meticulously track and manage project progress, issues, and risks, with an eye towards driving transformational outcomes effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring they align seamlessly with overarching business transformation goals.
  • Implement project management best practices, cutting-edge methodologies, and robust governance frameworks to propel transformational project success.

ABOUT THE PERSON:

  • Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably with exposure to IT or related industries, demonstrating a track record of driving transformational change.
  • Exhibit proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, with essential experience in using Jira and confluence for transformational project management.
  • Showcase outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels to drive transformational outcomes.
  • Exposure to procurement or cybersecurity projects would be advantageous but not a requirement.
  • Demonstrate a solid track record of delivering projects within established timelines and budgets, with an unwavering commitment to quality and stakeholder satisfaction.

Note: The company operates with a hybrid work approach, with two days a week in its Dublin office.
