Security Architect (12 Month DRC)

Location: Cork – 3 days per week onsite

Contract: 12 months+

The Opportunity

Barden are partnering with a leading professional services organisation to appoint a Security Architect & Program Lead. This role will play a key part in driving the delivery of critical cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

About the Role

• Providing oversight on risk management and security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, NIS2).
• Engaging with senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
• Supporting the development of long-term cybersecurity roadmaps.
• Leading large-scale security programs and initiatives.
• Working closely with consultants, vendors, and internal teams.

About the Person

• Experienced in program leadership within security or cyber domains.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks and best practices.
• Skilled in managing cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Excellent communicator with strong project management experience.
