Barden are delighted to have been exclusively engaged by a growing SME owned by a successful entrepreneur. Due to recent growth they are now inviting a highly skilled accounting professional to join their finance team as an Senior Financial Accountant.
This is a broad accounting position and the ideal next step for a financial accountant looking to progress. The opportunity will allow exposure to the full accounting process for the company, as well as getting involved in the day-to-day running of the business.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Preparation of financial statements;
- Preparation of monthly management accounts;
- Assist in the preparation of budgeting and forecasting process;
- Monitor and strengthen the control environment;
- Manage cash flow;
- Oversee and review operational finance;
- Ensure tax compliance;
- Prepare scenario analysis to support business decisions;
- Assist with the external audit process;
- Identify opportunities from improvements and efficiencies in current process.
- Ad-hoc projects as they arise.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- Qualified accounting professional or qualified by experience;
- Minimum 3 years experience within an SME environment;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Self-starter and ability to prioritise deadlines;
- Strong technical ability and good attention to detail;
- Advanced excel user skills preferred.
Office based in Dublin South, with hybrid working in place.
