Barden are delighted to be partnering with a leading Irish insurer to recruit a Senior Consumer Pricing & Portfolio Actuary.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and commercially minded actuary to join a well-established Irish organisation with a strong reputation for innovation and customer focus. The successful person will lead strategic pricing and portfolio initiatives, helping to shape the direction of a key business area within the organisation.
Based in Dublin, this is a full-time, permanent role offering hybrid working and an excellent benefits package.
The Role
Working closely with the Head of Underwriting, this person will:
• Lead two high-performing teams focused on consumer pricing and portfolio management
• Drive best-in-class pricing strategies to support business growth and commercial performance
• Deliver expert insights and reporting to senior leadership
• Partner with cross-functional teams to develop innovative customer propositions
• Promote advanced analytics and data-driven decision-making across the business
• Manage and develop actuarial talent within a collaborative, high-performing environment
The Ideal Profile
• Qualified Actuary with 5+ years’ post-qualification experience
• Proven people leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Strong technical expertise in pricing and portfolio strategy
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Commercially focused, innovative, and results-driven
