In Barden, we are delighted to be partnering with a key client to identify an ambitious and outgoing finance professional to take on a newly created Senior Finance Analyst role in their Sustainability department.
The Senior Finance Analyst will possess excellent interpersonal and influencing skills and have a genuine passion for partnering with business stakeholders. About the position:
This is a pivotal role in shaping the future framework for ESG reporting. This opportunity offers a broad remit of responsibilities including building strong relationships with stakeholders’ group wide as the business enters this new phase of reporting, efficiently capturing robust data across multiple entities, and playing a key role in the implementation of a new reporting system.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop solid frameworks to identify and capture data for reporting in timely manner, ensuring compliance with CSRD reporting obligations
- Build strong relationships across the business, providing education around the new ESG requirements
- Partner with the business to implement automated solutions for reporting and monitoring
- Provide information/reports to stakeholders on sustainability strategy
- Assess new acquisitions to ensure these are aligned with new reporting requirements
- Responsible for continuous improvement and monitoring of processes and systems and keeping up to date with regulations and trends
About the person:
Ideally the successful person will be a qualified Accountant (2+ years PQE) with a genuine interest in sustainability. A good understanding of data and systems would be advantageous. You will be a good communicator who builds strong relationships. You will have the ability to take initiative with an eagerness to learn.
