Barden are currently partnering with one of Ireland’s leading brands in the search for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join their high-performing team. Reporting to an exceptional Director of Commercial Finance, the ideal candidate will be analytical, with a strong commercial acumen and a genuine interest in leading a team. In addition, the ideal person will have strong senior stakeholder engagement skills.
This person will collaborate closely with the wider business, primarily responsible for assisting, analysing, and overseeing the achievement of the company’s financial and operational objectives. This involves delivering high-quality and timely management information for informed business decision-making.

ABOUT THE ROLE
- Strategic planning on medium and long-term objectives.
- Support, challenge and govern your division to achieve financial and operating targets.
- Analysis of business performance, providing insights, commentary and recommendations to non-finance individuals.
- Preparation, review and presentation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for the division to senior management.
- Participate in group wide projects as required.
- Liaising regularly with cross functional departments.
- Develop, mentor and empower a well-established finance team.
- Drive initiatives and activities which will support ongoing finance transformation and decision support.

ABOUT THE PERSON
- Qualified accountant with 7/8+ years post qualified experience.
- Highly analytical, with a natural numerical aptitude.
- Excellent people skills, experienced business partner, strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail driven, focused, appetite for systems and process improvements.
- Motivated self-starter who enjoys working as part of a team.
