Barden has been engaged by a leading Irish FMCG business in Cork to identify a qualified Senior Financial Accountant to join their finance team. This is a broad and commercially focused finance role, suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, evolving environment and wants to make an impact beyond the numbers.
You’ll join a well-established and high-performing finance function, supporting both day-to-day accounting and broader business activity. This opportunity offers genuine exposure to the commercial side of operations, with a strong focus on stakeholder collaboration, process improvement and meaningful business partnering.

THE ROLE
- Full ownership of month-end reporting, management accounts, and KPI reporting
- Partnering with commercial and operational teams to provide financial insights
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes across the business
- Managing tax compliance and supporting audit processes
- Assisting with board reporting and driving process improvements
THE PERSON
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 2+ years’ PQE
- Strong technical skills, with excellent Excel knowledge
- Commercially minded, detail-oriented, and results-driven
- Strong communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams
