Our client is a leading Irish retail business based in North Dublin who are are looking for an experienced and qualified accountant to join their growing team as a Senior Financial Accountant.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
This role reports directly to the Financial Controller and offers a broad range of responsibilities and exposure to senior management.
Main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of monthly management reporting packs;
- Preparation of monthly journal entries;
- Assist in the preparation of year-end consolidated financial statements;
- Assist in the preparation of technical accounting memos;
- Business partnering with multiple internal stakeholders;
- Opportunity to take on people management over time;
- Continuous process improvement and ad-hoc projects as they arise.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with circa 2-5 years PQE;
- Previous month end, financial reporting experience preferred;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Good team player and self-driven.
