We are delighted to be working with a market leading Engineering business in Cork to identify a Senior Management Accountant & Business Partner. This customer centric business has been hugely successful in providing cutting-edge solutions within its industry. The business has a small company feel but has the support and backing of a large parent company.
Working closely with a highly regarded Head of Finance, you will get exposure to all areas of Finance as the business grows. The role will include a mix of month end activities, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting and business partnering giving great variety to the role.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Responsibilities will include:
• Responsibility for monthly and quarterly reporting, investigation of variances and overall results to assist business performance
• Contribute towards the strategies for driving revenue growth and cost efficiencies
• Responsibility for the preparation and coordination of the budgeting and forecasting process
• Act as a key Finance Business Partner to the business stakeholders
• Implement robust financial, controls and reporting systems
• Continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging existing and new technologies to enhance the control environment and improve all elements of financial information.
• Take on a lead role in the preparation of year end accounts and management of the external audit.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
The successful candidate will have:
• Qualified Accountant with 5+ years PQE
• Strong analytical, presentation and communication skills
• Proven ability to influence at all levels in the organization
• Excellent commercial acumen
• Ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines
• Organized and efficient personality, positive attitude
