ROLE:                 Senior Manager, Finance Business Partner & Optimisation

LOCATION:      Dublin South | Hybrid

Barden are delighted to partner with a high-profile Irish PLC on the appointment of a Senior Manager Finance Business Partner. This person will focus initially on process optimisation & automation within the Business Partner function in the area of data and analytics with overall goal to transition to a business-as-usual Business Partner role. ABOUT THE ROLE:

Process optimisation & transformation – responsibilities:

The initial focus for this role will be optimisation of data and analytics functionality within the business partnering division. That will include but is not limited to review of current solutions in place to ensure full utilisation in addition to review of other solutions to provide further optimisation opportunities. Creating a best in practice function across business partnering and commercial finance

 Finance Business Partner – responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly financial reporting packages with commentary and analysis.
  • Provide financial insights and support to senior leadership.
  • Prepare and analyse monthly financial reports.
  • Conduct financial reviews with senior management.
  • Assist in forecasting and budgeting.
  • Identify key revenue and margin drivers.
  • Prepare management presentations.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business

 ABOUT THE PERSON:

What you will ideally need:

  • Fully qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA
  • Experience in optimisation of Data and Analytics functionality within a similar environment including tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau
  • Significant experience in financial business partnering or financial analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and develop actionable strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and reporting tools, with a strong understanding of business operations and financial principles.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills with experience in preparing executive-ready presentations.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles combined with a business focus.
  • Excellent Excel knowledge.
  • Candidate should be ambitious, able to multi-task & work well under pressure.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
