ROLE:                               Senior Project Manager (9 month FTC)

LOCATION:                       Dublin, Hybrid

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading a transformation project, with particular emphasis on an operations‑focused project. This role requires an experienced Project Manager capable of strategic oversight while embedding structure, pace and discipline across multiple programmes and workstreams.

This position is offered as:

  • An initial 9–12 month fixed‑term contract, with a view to permanency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, structure, and coordination across a major transformation project.
  • Oversee delivery of a large‑scale operations‑focused project, managing milestones, dependencies and budget rigorously.
  • Establish and embed project governance, including RAID management, delivery controls and reporting frameworks.
  • Develop and present high‑quality executive‑level updates and materials.
  • Engage with a broad network of stakeholders, including external advisory partners, ensuring all parties deliver against agreed outputs, timelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with senior leaders across the business to drive alignment and accountability.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating where appropriate.
  • Ensure disciplined planning, clear prioritisation, and effective resource allocation across the project environment.
  • Provide clarity, structure, and delivery assurance as the organisation continues to embed its transformation framework.

ABOUT THE PERSON:

A strategic and adaptable project manager, comfortable operating in complex environments, engaging with senior stakeholders (including C‑Suite), and confident moving between high‑level oversight and detailed delivery when required.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Proven experience delivering large‑scale operational or infrastructure‑led projects with significant budgets.
  • Strong project governance, planning, reporting and delivery‑control expertise.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially in preparing and presenting executive‑level material.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, challenge and align senior stakeholders.
  • Highly organised, structured and resilient, with strong problem‑solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in a highly governed, high‑visibility environment.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple moving parts simultaneously.
  • Availability to be onsite 3 days per week.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years’ project management or transformation delivery experience.
  • Strong track record delivering complex, multi‑workstream projects.
  • Background in regulated, high‑governance or large operational environments is an advantage.
  • Strong familiarity with PMO standards, methodologies and delivery frameworks.
  • Experience preparing materials for senior governance forums and executive committees.
