Barden is proud to be partnering with a global organisation to identify an SAP FICO Specialist to join them on a permanent basis. In this role, you will apply your deep expertise in SAP Finance and Controlling modules to deliver both functional and technical solutions to business challenges. You will collaborate closely with finance and business stakeholders to streamline financial processes, support SAP system enhancements, and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Analyse, design, configure, and support core ERP finance modules to ensure alignment with organisational requirements.
  • Manage key finance processes including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Taxation, and Financial Closing & Consolidation.
  • Work on cost and profitability management processes such as Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and Profitability Analysis to drive financial efficiency.
  • Ensure integration with other ERP functional areas and external systems for seamless end-to-end financial operations.
  • Support statutory reporting, IFRS compliance, audits, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Provide expertise in revenue recognition, milestone-based revenue, and tracking of planned versus actual costs.
  • Assist in group reporting activities, including consolidated financial statements and intercompany eliminations.
  • Troubleshoot finance-related ERP issues and recommend process improvements.
  • Contribute to ERP implementation, integration, and system rollout projects, including S/4HANA environments.
  • Expertise in finance and controlling master data management, including chart of accounts, cost elements, and profit centers.
  • Hands-on experience in configuration, system enhancements, and troubleshooting within finance and controlling modules.
  • Familiarity with ERP development and extension tools, such as custom views, APIs, user exits, and enhancement frameworks.
  • Understanding of workflow, financial supply chain, and treasury processes is a plus.

ABOUT THE PERSON:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in ERP finance and controlling modules within ECC or S/4HANA environments.
  • Certification in ERP finance modules (e.g., SAP FICO) is desirable.
  • Experience in full-cycle ERP finance implementations, system support, and process optimisation.
  • Strong knowledge of core financial processes, compliance requirements, and IFRS standards.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
