Barden is proud to be partnering with a global tech-led platform to support the appointment of a Senior Social Media Associate based in Dublin.

This is a unique opportunity for a communications or operations professional to join a high-impact global team, supporting social media risk response, strategic initiatives, and cross-functional communications projects.

The Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring emergent issues across social media platforms
  • Drafting and publishing content across multiple channels
  • Supporting both proactive and reactive communications around sensitive or high-risk topics
  • Collaborating with global teams across Community Support, Trust, Policy, Crisis, and Regulatory functions
  • Assisting in the development of playbooks, best practices, and response strategies
  • Measuring and reporting on campaign/project effectiveness
  • Supporting EMEA teams with reputational flagging and issue management
  • Managing handoffs, escalations, and urgent content moderation
  • Monitoring team queues and highlighting volume or workflow issues to Leads
  • Assisting in onboarding and upskilling of new team members
  • Gathering and analysing data for reporting and insights
  • Driving communications initiatives with regional and global impact

The Ideal Profile

  • Experience in fast-paced, multi-channel communications or crisis management environments
  • Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication abilities
  • Prior experience with social media monitoring tools such as Sprinklr (beneficial but not essential)
  • Experience working on cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data
  • Passion for community-focused platforms and customer experience
  • Willingness to work a Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday shift pattern, including weekends, public holidays, and flexible hours between 7am–8pm (as required)
