Barden are partnering with an innovative global group who are growing their accounting team based in Cork by recruiting a Senior Tax Accountant.
The Senior Tax Accountant will be involved in a variety of tax compliance and reporting while sitting within the accounting function. This role will allow for a varied role across accounting and tax and will offer fantastic multinational industry experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for preparation and submission of various direct tax returns
- Responsible for quarterly tax reporting and tax provisioning
- Liaise with third party advisors and tax authorities in various jurisdictions as required
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with US and local GAAP
- Review tax processes and suggest improvements where required
About the person:
Ideally the successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant (ACA/CPA/ACCA/CIMA). A tax qualification would be an advantage but not essential. Experience working in tax or in a multinational would also be advantageous. The team are extremely supportive and collaborative so there will be great scope for development in this role!
