Barden are partnering with an innovative global tech group who are growing their tax team which is based in Cork by recruiting a Senior Tax Accountant.
Reporting to the Tax Manager, you’ll work with both Tax and Accounting teams and collaborate with various departments within the business
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit compliance returns (Corporation Tax, WHT, VAT) for European entities.
- Review monthly tax provisions and reports.
- Coordinate tax queries, reviews, and audits.
- Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Reconcile tax accounts and prepare transfer pricing reports.
- Identify process improvements and manage the compliance calendar.
- Support the Accounting team with reporting activities.
About the person:
Ideally the successful person be a qualified Tax Consultant and/or Accountant and experience across a variety of tax heads would be advantageous. You will be a strong communicator with good time management. The team has an open and collaborative culture, ideal for a tax professional’s first role in industry!
