Barden is proud to partner with a leading client in Cork in their search for a Software QA Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an experienced IT team, support software quality assurance across multiple platforms, and perform system testing and computer systems validation.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Develop and execute test scripts, validating software across a range of technologies.
- Perform computer systems validation to ensure IT systems meet regulatory standards (FDA).
- Log software defects and provide detailed feedback to development teams.
- Develop, implement, and maintain test procedures, documentation, and testing tools.
- Opportunity to explore and help introduce automation testing.
ABOUT YOU
- 2-3 years of experience as a Software QA Engineer.
- Experience in a highly regulated environment (e.g., pharmaceutical or medical devices) is a strong plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Formal training in Software QA and proven experience in computer system validation across multiple platforms.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Permanent, full-time position with salary and benefits.
- Hybrid role – 1 day per week in the office in Cork city.
