An excellent opportunity has arisen for a tax director to join a global tax team of an Irish headquartered multinational group, based in Dublin city.
The purpose of your role will be to manage all aspects of tax compliance and reporting for the group (outside of the US) including tax reporting and accounting along with input into Country by Country reporting and Pillar Two.
You will be part of the global tax team and partner with all members of this team including having two direct reports who are based in Ireland and Europe for compliance matters.
Working closely with the tax director, also based in Dublin, this role is a key position for the business and will ensure good exposure across the business. Managing relationships with external advisors will also be an important aspect of the role to ensure the company’s tax position is optimised.

About the person
- A qualified chartered tax advisor and ideally a qualified accountant
- 12+ years of experience in corporate tax including strong tax accounting experience
- People management experience and a desire to develop team members
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent project management skills
- The ability to partner with key business stakeholders to effectively address and resolve complex tax related matters with a result driven and “hands on” attitude
