An exciting opportunity to join the tax team of a fantastic Irish company which has an amazing culture for a 6 month contract. Described as a tax centric organisation, this is a commercially focused tax role where you will get exposure across all areas of the business.
As the company gears up for significant growth and multiple projects, including M&A deals, you’ll collaborate closely with the head of tax and other leaders to advise on these ventures.
As a result of the growth of the business, there is likely to be an opportunity to stay in the tax function or pivot across to other areas of the finance team at the end of this fixed term contract.

A flexible working arrangement can be provided for the right person (1 day a week in the office).
About the position
- Managing and monitoring tax compliance for the group covering corporate and indirect taxes
- Supporting the head of tax on various tax projects including corporate structuring and planning projects as they arise
- Supporting and advising on M&A deals
- Provide support to commercial functions ensuring that tax is considered for commercial decisions
- Assist on all tax related queries raised by the business, working with the team and external advisors in this regard
- Develop strong working relationships across the business and with external stakeholders

- Qualified tax professional with strong commercial awareness and experience of applying tax requirements to specific business decisions
- A strong team player is essential, someone who will fit into a flexible, open and genuine environment
- People management skills along with strong communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills
