A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced tax professional to join a highly regarded international group, providing comprehensive support across all tax matters. This broad role spans tax compliance and reporting, transfer pricing, and a wide range of international tax issues. As the organisation continues to expand through its acquisition-led growth strategy, prior experience advising on M&A tax matters will be a strong advantage.
This is a unique position suited to an experienced tax specialist with industry experience who is proactive, capable of working autonomously, and looking for a well-balanced workload. While there will be natural fluctuations, the overall demands are very manageable. The role is fully remote.
About the position
- Oversee the Group’s global tax strategy, compliance activities, and advisory functions.
- Ensure accurate, efficient fulfilment of tax obligations across multiple jurisdictions in line with applicable laws.
- Prepare/review and manage corporate tax compliance processes for the group
- Provide day-to-day tax support to key business and support functions, including HR, Business Development, and Legal.
- Provide guidance to the business on Corporate structuring, M&A transactions, Transfer pricing, including funding arrangements, Tax planning initiatives
- Shape and develop the Group’s long-term tax strategy.
- Improve and streamline tax-related operational processes.
- Manage tax risk across the organisation.
- Support strategic decision-making through high-quality analysis and insights.
About the person
- Qualified tax professional, accounting qualification beneficial not essential
- Experience working within an international group and advising on a wide variety of tax matters
- High attention to detail and ability to translate complex tax matters into practical solutions.
- Excellent influencing and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership presence, interpersonal effectiveness, and good communication skills.
